There was a distinct charm to this game, while the gameplay was traditional RPG fare, there was something about it that made me play on. While it’s barely an adequate RPG, the soundtrack was okay, this track is particularly pretty, if not predictable.

wow thats sure different then otherworld… haha totally different spectrums

Actually, CodeHollowCloud Nobuo Uematsu isn’t apart of Mistwalker he is apart of his company Smile. Also he is a freelance composer and takes on commissions from people to do anime, video games, or whatever someone commissions him to do.

  4. CodeHollowCloud says:

winksoft360…have you heard of Final Fantasy? It is a very popular video game series created by Hironobu Sakaguchi. Hironobu Sakaguchi left the company he was with and teamed up with Nobuo Uematsu and founded a new gaming company – Mistwalker. Mistwalker created Blue Dragon. Blue Dragon definitely does not suck. Yes, the anime and video game may not be AMAZING, but they deserve some credit. This song represents Blue Dragon, and is every bit as important as the games and anime.

  5. AidanxJxTeer says:

    agreed =]
game really irritated me i got so far and then i couldnt be asked

  6. AkumaUchitoru says:

I love this song. ^^ It seems a little unfitting for Blue Dragon though I think. It reminds me more of Dearly Beloved from Kingdom Hearts or something that also has some relaxing music and parts in it.

  7. AkumaUchitoru says:

Akira also designed and maybe even created Chrono Trigger and the Dragon Warrior/Quest series. ^^ There’s a few other composers from other games too like whoever did some of the songs in Wild Arms and Threads of Fate or so. But yeah, if Nobou Uematsu did music in Dragon Ball Z, I wonder what it would sound like.

  8. winksoft360 says:

    first off.
it was a game before it was an anime.
    second off.
    the anime sucks.
    third off.
    the game sucks.
    fourth off.
    this song is still incredible.

    Nobuo :-D

though I must say two things

    1) this is the most predictable (if you’re familiar w the rest of his work, of course) piece I’ve ever heard from Nobuo; doubtless Sakaguchi asked him for something akin to the music that accompanies the title screens in Final Fantasy games;

    2) “Akira Toriyama [is] the great Creator of Blue Dragon” — he’s not! he did the character designs, but Hironobu Sakaguchi, the man responsible for conceiving of the first entrants in the FF series, made this game!

  10. joshcarchi says:

it is already but it could be better with what you say! xD

  11. MatheusManentee says:

you mean when Nobuo Finished working fo FF? Yes.
Since FFX, he only made one or two songs for the games, mostly main themes, a example is the Main Theme of FFXII (that’s actually the best song of the ost, even the others being truly amazing too)

  12. therock17024 says:

Nobuo Uematsu the composer of Final Fantasies and Akira Toriyama the great Creator of Blue Dragon and the Legendary Dragonball Z. Damn what a great combination. If only Uematsu was the composer the Dragonball Z it would be the greatest cartoon in the history of life.

  13. bobinschool says:

    since ffX? 2 games?

  14. forcedemodo says:

Just to let you guys know, I finally bought the sheet music, so I’ll end up making a video of me playing it (or something). It’s quite interesting how it’s done…

  15. roendm says:

pals.. aside from nobuo and yiruma can u give me some other great piano artists…|i mean literally piano artists| not orchestra like chopin or any other…ty… PM>.. me dat wud be great…^^, looking forward

  16. ChEmO1900 says:

    Buen sonido

  17. achalter says:

same here, after that,it stopped abrupt. Im a little bit sorry for him,and his other good music. but some time, even the greatest composers dont have new ideas. This song proves, that he is not completely out of new themes. I checked the anime he made the music for,and as i see it,it sucks^^ but well, doesnt affect the music ;)

  18. Imacoww says:

    WHAT?!?!
    NO WAY
NOBUO UEMATSU IS THE BEST COMPOSER
but yiruma is veryyy talented and great too
    :]

  19. ToughCookie95 says:

this is good, though not as good as yiruma, if you like this guy, check yiruma out!
